Here at The Mobile Locker Co, we said goodbye to summer by with a big labor day weekend – our locker trucks went out to the first Rutgers Football, USF Football, and UVA Football games of the season, the Camping World Kickoff, the Sam Smith concert, and the BMW Championships!
Our Spartan tour continued with Vermont, Tahoe, Chicago, Citizens Bank Park, and Michigan, and we headed to Rhode Island for the annual Ocean Road 10K race.
September was also a fun concert month – we locked it up for Shakira, Chayanne, and Beyonce (twice!). And fall is all about sports with football season in full swing as we continued with Rutgers, USF, UVA, the Chargers, and the Tampa Bay Buccs, LA Galaxy games, a Lakers game in San Diego, and the TOUR Championship golf tournament in Atlanta!
One awesome event we added to our September calendar was the Laver Cup, a traveling tennis tournament billed as “Europe vs the World.” This year it took place in Chicago, and when we connected with the event organizers, all our trucks were booked, but we worked out a new logistics plan to provide bag check services for the attendees. We set up multiple stations around the stadium, and we were definitely busy! The tournament drew a very large foreign crowd, so, not being used to the US’s stricter security policies, we had a lot of backpacks to check! It was a super busy weekend, but we had a blast!
