Ah, the dog days of summer, when you get to just sit back and relax, right? Oh no – the weather heats up in August and so did our schedule!
In the Midwest, we were back at the Pro Football Hall of Fame for the 2018 Enshrinement Weekend. For this event, certain ticket holders get special autograph sessions before the evening events. They get to complimentary locker rentals to shore their newly signed items, and we meet them back at their hotel! It’s a super fun weekend and we usually even get to see a former pro footballer or two!
We had a couple “firsts” this month – Our events in Iowa (Taco Fest Music Festival and the 515 Alive Festival) and Missouri (PGA Championships). That gets us thinking… how many states have we covered so far? At current count, we’ve provided locker rentals for events in 27 of the 48 contiguous states! Not too shabby, maybe we’ll get to all 48 by the end of this year!
August also means the start of golf golf and more golf! In addition to the PGA Championships, we headed to the Northern Trust in Pennsylvania. For golf tournaments, our locker rental service is super important because so many folks take shuttles to the event, and if they have an item, such as a purse, they can’t take in, they need a storage solution!
Per usual, we were hanging with our Spartans, locking it up at Boston, West Point, and West Virigina, onsite for Warrior Dash New England, and serviced Stubhub Center and Valley View Casino Center events (LA Galaxy, the Bad Bunny concert, and the first pre-season Chargers games). Speaking of football, the Jets played a scrimmage at Rutgers Highpoint Solutions Stadium so we hit that game up as well!
Okay re-cap almost over… almost! Did you know there is a service that transports kids’ luggage for summer camp for them? Who knew, it’s always so interested to discover new businesses. Anyway, we teamed up with that service to offer their drivers a spot to lock their stuff up while at their warehouse!
